Not much has changed over the past week except the arctic temperatures have finally let up for a few days. Right now, you'll find a decent boot pack straight up from the road below the Tablets but no other tracks since we got at least 14" of snowfall Twenty Below Zero gully and all areas of the Tablets are awesome right now. There is some shell ice over snow to watch out for in spots. Crazy Diamond is good moderate climbing but if you want to finish, you'll have to send the curtain up high which is almost touching. Glass Menagerie is good but a little thin down low, fat up top. There is a yellow rope thread at the midpoint belay. Mindbender, Plug N' Chug, and Renormalization are all fat. The Gent and Promenade look sketchy down low and not all that fat up high. Called on Account of Rains looks all the way down but it was detached potato chip ice two weeks ago. It looks like no-one has made the snow wallow up there to see if it got any better. Snowshoes might be a good choice for travel up there or anywhere that's untracked for a distance.
