Happy New Year everyone! Well, the positive thing about starting off the New Year with -10F temps mid-morning at the Lake, is that by afternoon when it got up to zero, it felt downright balmy!
Bullet-proof ice made it more work than usual for good tool placements but there's lots of thick ice now. You'll find a good boot pack up from the road below the Tablets and thanks to earlier parties - some sweet high-speed butt-sliding back down! Twenty Below Zero gully and the Tablets are awesome right now. Crazy Diamond is good moderate climbing but if you want to finish, you'll have to send the free-hanging curtain up high. Looks like fun either way! Mindbender, Plug N' Chug, and Renormalization are fat and look awesome too!

Tablets - center and right. Center is actually easier than some years. Boot pack on the right, butt slide on the left. :)

Twenty Below Zero Gully in center, lower two-thirds of Glass Menagerie on right.

Start of the 20 Below crux column. It's possible to avoid it out to the left at an easier grade.
