    any beta on conditions after the rain/warmup? i’m considering climbing friday 1/4. thanks

    Sorry I missed this. Most common routes on the Jeff Side (Jeff Slide, Grand Confusion, ENT, workout wall, etc) have held up quite well. I would suspect the same is true on the Stowe side. However, be aware that there is an Extremely!! hard layer laying under 4-6 inches of fresh snow on approaches everywhere. I talked to some skiers today that took an unintended ride after a slough slide took them off their feet. There hasn't been a lot of wind to move the snow around but any areas of deep snow should be approach with a thought to avalanche potential.
