Trekked up to the old quarry downstream of Confluence today. Figured with the cold snap it might have some decent lines. Nope. Whole quarry was iced up, but saturated and lots of flowing water despite the temps (did hit the 20s midday). More south-facing than I expected, lots of sun. Watched big blocks schlop off. Not safe enough even to toprope. Also checked out Meadow Run south of Ohiopyle. Ice quality a little better, only one semi-solid section touching down. North aspects seemed to have formed up and held up better.
