Headed up there today after yesterday AM's warm temps and rain and was happy to see how much ice survived. Pitch one was plastic fun. Pitch two was going pretty well until I plugged up 3 of my remaining 6 ice screws with new fresh wet ice after the rock traverse. Above the steeper bit after the traverse looked pretty thin until the small parasol and with only 3 use-able screws and no rock gear I decided to V-thread off. Rock gear or willing to run it out for 40 feet would have made it go but sai la vie.
