Foxhole Prayer
Foxhole Prayer is a beautiful ice climb deep within a crag at Goback split in two by a huge cleft. This cleft slowly fills with ice during the winter and spring, coming into condition late in the season. The first finish (due to fear and oncoming darkness) climbed up and through a foxhole barely the width of a skinny guy's shoulders. This year we went back and added a direct finish, going out horizontally in a Bombay chimney to finish the climb at the cliff's edge. The difficulty varies, mostly due to the thickness of the ice. This year was a bit easier at NEI5+.
